I do lens based, image projects and write occasional non-fiction articles.

The imagery is mostly monochromatic, long form series. They evolve over time, starting with digital photographs. They are developed via intuitively plus a bit of post processing to uncover hidden themes and complexities. The work is often photojournalistic in style but are not documentaries.

Both digital and artisanal . . . with a whiff of irony.

Recently, I have exhibited at the 3S Artspace, Belknap Mill'S Gallery, "NH Creates", 100 Market Gallery and the Exeter Town Hall (annual NHCP exhibit). My "backstage/backstory" project is a permanent installation in the West End theatre lobby and most recently, three of us have a months long exhibit (my "biologics" work") at the very charming Thaxter Hotel in Portsmouth, NH.

I've done a variety of photographic work, written for print and online publications and was a designer and manager in hi-tech for some years. I hold a BA from NC State University where I was editor of the yearbook, VP of SAE fraternity, BlueKey & GoldenChain honoraries, co-captian of the swimming team and generally had a grand time. I also hold an MFA from Stanford University in Design which lead to ten delightful years as a visiting lecturer there, while simultaneously working full time at Hewlett-Packard.
