Mostly monochromatic and in long form series. They evolve over time, starting with photographs. As they develop via post processing, I explore hidden themes and complexities. The work is often photojournalistic in style but not documentary.
The work is both digital and artisanal . . . with a touch of irony.
I've done a variety of photographic work, written for print and online publications, was a designer and manager in hi-tech for some years. For a decade, I was a visiting lecturer at Stanford University. I hold a BA from NC State University and an MFA from Stanford University.
