Most of my portrait imagery has been tangential to other projects. That's changing with the start of the Adolf influenced series (see below), here's some of the portrait imagery I've done over the years.
Adolfo Rosenfeld is a professional photographer who teaches Zoom based workshops focused on environmental portraiture. A native of Argentina, his work is wonderfully "real" to the point of having an almost gritty feel. Beautifully lit, his images feel like those rare snap shots we take but can never figure out how we got them.
Trust me, there is a lot of craft in Adolf's snap shots.
I am exploring Adolfo's approach with this series of "Photographers with Cameras". Over time, I expect this work to fold into the new (2024/25) NHCP Artist Portrait project.
